Satellite Radio Broadcaster
Sirius Offers Music Channels Via Web
.
Sirius Satellite Radio
(NAS: SIRI), the satellite
radio broadcaster, today unveiled its redesigned web site, offering live
streaming of its 60 commercial-free music channels. Created to serve as
an interactive complement to Sirius' broadcast programming,
www.siriusradio.com
also features "customer command,'' which allows consumers to subscribe
and manage their Sirius accounts online and interact with customer service
representatives 24 hours a day, seven days a week, via live chat and e-mail.

| "Sirius' innovative services represent
some the great new consumer experiences made possible by digital media
technology", said Jonathan Usher, group product manager, Windows
Digital Media Division at Microsoft. "We are pleased that Sirius has chosen
Windows Media to ensure their customers have the highest quality digital
music on their PC." |

To listen to Sirius music on the site,
visitors must first sign-up to become ``Sirius Insiders.'' In addition
to listening to live streaming audio, Sirius Insiders can go ``backstage''
on their favorite channels and view interviews, photos and other exclusive
content from in-studio sessions with great musical artists.
To date, Sirius has compiled more
than 180 live, in-studio performances and in excess of 700 interviews from
diverse artists ranging from Tony Bennett to Gene Simmons to Moby.
On
the site, message boards allow Sirius Insiders to share news and thoughts
on the music or anything that comes to mind with other members of the Sirius
community and the company's music programmers.
By joining channel communities, Sirius
Insiders can stay informed about what's happening on their favorite channels,
including in-studio events and specials and exclusive news.
"Giving consumers a way to experience
Sirius' 60 original channels of commercial-free music will drive subscriptions
to our service,"' said Philip Pilla, Sirius' Vice President, Consumer
Marketing. "In addition, we've designed our web site to provide at-your-fingertips
information about our company, to offer efficient customer service and
to serve as an inclusive online community for music lovers.''
Sirius has chosen Microsoft Windows
Media Technologies to stream its 60 live music channels. Windows Media
offers Sirius Insiders industry-leading audio and video quality, industrial-strength
security, and broad consumer reach.
