KnowledgeStorm will provide a software and services directory to Yahoo! IT Software Marketplace (http://industrymarketplaces.yahoo.com/software/), allowing Yahoo! IT Software Marketplace users to access KnowledgeStorm's directory of thousands of vendors and products. Knowledgestorm also broadens its reach further as it continues to simplify the IT product selection and marketing process.

"Software vendors report spending over $10 billion on advertising and marketing to identify qualified prospects for their products with a 50 percent success rate," said Greg Kemp, KnowledgeStorm CEO and president. "KnowledgeStorm provides vendors with a cost effective alternative to traditional marketing practices.  We are thrilled to be working with Yahoo! to increase our vendor exposure to Yahoo! IT Software Marketplace users, and we are confident that this offers an efficient and cost-effective venue in which to exhibit our vendors' products and services."

Now representing 3,500 registered software vendors and over 20,000 products, KnowledgeStorm's IT directory  has  registered over 4,000 IT buyers in just five weeks.

"We're pleased to offer Yahoo! IT Software Marketplace users access to KnowledgeStorm's IT directory," said Shannon Ledger, vice president and general manager, production, Yahoo!. "Providing business users with the best content and services available to meet their IT software and services research needs is a goal of Yahoo! Industry Marketplaces, and we believe this relationship will help us reach that goal."

KnowledgeStorm simplifies the information technology decision-making process.  The company's research engine enables business and IT professionals to identify all the products available and narrow their searches according to user-defined features, constraints and requirements.  Working one-on-one with the KnowledgeStorm team, IT vendors listed in the KnowledgeStorm directory can include detailed information about each of their software solutions.
