Inc. announced today that it will take advantage of a recent announcement
by eBay to ease current restrictions and allow for the download of digital
goods and services. Payloadz will integrate seamlessly with any PayPal
account to enable eBay sellers to offer digital goods for sale from their
web site or online auction.
Examples given by eBay of permissible downloads are: MP3 files of an original song, written and recorded by the seller, an eBook of recipes, or computer software created by the seller. In an attempt to further simplify this process for its users, Payloadz will allow clients to list products on its eBay store directly from the Payloadz web site. The company will handle all listing duties,including listing fees, giving merchants preferred placement on eBay. Sellers can also sell directly from their own eBay accounts using the PayLoadz service. Shannon Sofield, CEO of Payloadz, commented on new developments to their system in time with the eBay announcement: We have streamlined the listing process for reliable digital delivery and increased exposure to buyers in the PayLoadz eBay Store through new search filters and product categories. Our sellers have seen increased traffic and repeat users through our new features, says Sofield, and now that eBay has eased restrictions, its Payloadz store is experiencing a substantial increase in traffic.
