and Sanctions Online at ChoicePoint

ChoicePoint (NYSE: CPS - news) has expanded its Consumer Info Central Web site (http://www.consumerinfocentral.com) with the addition of Dentist Search, a tool used to verify credentials for dentists. The site already enables consumers to search the backgrounds of physicians and chiropractors through comprehensive public record information.

Dentist Search has information on nearly 300,000 dentists

Nationwide dentist records are obtained from government sources. In addition to providing credentials for dentists who practice general dentistry, Dentist Search also reports on specialty areas of dental practice including orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. Records can be searched by dentist name, geographic location or area of practice.

Dentist Search has information on nearly 300,000 dentists on which consumers can order a free profile report containing general information such as practice location, telephone number, education, gender and more. More importantly, sanction reports containing license verification and information on disciplinary actions, if any, taken against the dentist are also available for a minimal cost.

The consumer Web site was launched Dec. 10, 2001, offering public record information on businesses, professionals and real estate. Consumer Info Central has plans to offer self-check products to consumers and to release additional search products on other professional service providers throughout the year.
