The CURIOUS GEORGE Web site-like the TV series-introduces young kids to key concepts in science, math and engineering in a way that is fun for them and accessible to parents, caregivers and educators.

The hit PBS KIDS series that launched number-one with preschoolers is also one of the top-visited Web sites for kids on pbskids.org!

Since its September 2006 launch, the CURIOUS GEORGE Web site at http://pbskids.org/curiousgeorge ranks as one of the most visited pbskids.org sites.  The site debuted with an average two million visits per month. Statistics also show that kids who visited the site stayed on average for an impressive one hour!

The CURIOUS GEORGE Web site-like the TV series-introduces young kids to key concepts in science, math and engineering in a way that is fun for them and accessible to parents, caregivers and educators.

Web Site Features:

Nine interactive games featuring Curious George and The Man with the Yellow Hat: Roller Monkey, On the Job, and Cows Don't Quack: Memory games that match colors, jobs with their corresponding tool, and animal sounds with pictures, respectively. Count Your Chickens, Banana 411, How Tall?, and Glass Palace: Number games that encourage counting and size approximation. Feed Gnocchi and Big Pictures: Problem-solving and visual identification.

Video clips
Twenty live-action clips from the series that illustrate real-world demonstrations of basic science concepts and problem solving.

Parents & Teachers
Additional resources include a downloadable Discovery Guide for teachers to help in planning engineering, science, and math curricula, recommended books, and an English and Spanish-language Family Activity Booklet for families to engage in simple and playful activities.
