"Unlike similar sites, 95% of the content you will find at LifeWayonline.com is developed right here at LifeWay," said Steve NeSmith, LifeWay's Manager of Online Marketing. "Our core competency is content. When LifeWayonline.com needs fresh content, we simply turn to LifeWay's many editorial departments for support." The result is that some of LifeWay's best content from today and yesterday is now seeing new life on the Internet. "There's a good chance that the Sunday school lesson you heard last week, or that best-selling Christian book on your nightstand was published by LifeWay or one of our subsidiaries," NeSmith added. "We believe this is being a better steward of our resources, to multiply use of our offline content via the Web," he continued. "And we are making it available to a whole new audience on the Net." This site, along with other newly redesigned LifeWay sites, like LifeWay.com,
LifeWaystores.com, and LifeWayLink.com,
are conforming to a new streamlined navigation and graphic layout, designed
to promote a LifeWay network of Web sites. LifeWay is implementing
Vignette's content management
For more than 100 years, LifeWay has been producing some of the best-known Christian family magazines and devotionals for individuals and churches. Where else on the Web will you be able to find over 100 years of trust -- Nowhere else, but at LifeWayonline.com. LifeWayonline.com is wholly owned by LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention. Headquartered in downtown Nashville, Tenn. for more than 100 years, LifeWay's publishing headquarters currently encompass more than one million square feet of floor space. Along with its headquarters, LifeWay also operates two of America's largest Christian conference centers in Glorietta, N.M., and Ridgecrest, N.C. The corporation also operates more than 90 LifeWay Christian Stores nationwide. LifeWay's E-commerce operation handled more than 104,000 online orders
via the Internet in 1999-2000. For further information contact Steve
