| SocialGrid
Launches Unique New Social Networking Service |
| . |
| SocialGrid is a free
decentralized social network that
helps people meet through Google. SocialGrid helps people find their “perfect
match” and extend their social network by making it possible for them to
use Google to search throughout the Internet for people with similar interests,
goals, desirable traits and characteristics. Discover a whole new way to
“Google People”. |
| . |
 |
. |
| Unlike most existing
virtual communities, which have limited search criteria available to their
members, SocialGrid's Search System
allows searches for ranges of criteria as well as increase the number of
search criteria. With the search system, you can now use Google to search
for ranges in age, education level, income level, and traits up to more
than 25 unique criteria (hopefully enough to help you find the “perfect
match”). |

SocialGrid’s Model for Finding People
SocialGrid's
goal is to provide a free search system that is cost-effective and universally
appealing. People currently search on Google and other search engines by
entering “key word phrases” to find relevant websites and in some cases,
high profile people.
SocialGrid
provides a search system that greatly enhances Google’s existing search
technology and utilizes Google’s servers to allow you to search for a person’s
profile page, their personal web site or blog based on their demographic
information, traits and interests. This means you can now search for people
with similar interests and characteristics - anywhere on the internet,
regardless of what other online or social networking community they belong
to as long as they have a profile page with us or have tagged their site
with our identification codes.
Unlike most existing virtual communities,
which have limited search criteria available to their members, SocialGrid's
Search System allows searches for ranges of criteria as well as increase
the number of search criteria. With the search system, you can now use
Google to search for ranges in age, education level, income level, and
traits up to more than 25 unique criteria (hopefully enough to help you
find the “perfect match”). There is no more browsing through countless
online personals to find your match, they bring relevant matches based
on your search criteria directly to you-free!
In addition, the technology powering
this service will be able to scale up to handle hundreds of millions of
members while minimizing costs. This search system, besides being used
to find a soulmates, could also be used to find lost classmates, roommates,
job listings, internships, etc..
For individuals who have personal
websites, blogs, or use P2P Telephony, you can use SocialGrid to increase
the visibility of their site by allowing others to search for you directly
through Google.
For companies hosting personal web
sites and blogging communities, by partnering with SocialGrid, you can
enhance community building on the internet and on your site.
How It Works
SocialGrid's
patent pending Search System translates information that members enter
on their Profile Page to enable Google and other internet search engines
to index the page along with the profile. This then makes it possible for
a member to search for other members’ profiles based on interests, characteristics,
similarities, etc...The final result will be a revolutionary way to search
for people using Google and other search engines.
For individuals who do not have a
personal web page or blog, simply create a SocialGrid Profile page. For
those who have personal web pages or blogs, create a search ID code that
you can place directly on your blog or personal web page. You can provide
as little or as much information about yourself depending on how you want
others to find you and begin searching. And like searching on Google, it
is free to members.
