Miss Marple
is back! Geraldine McEwan reprises her role as Agatha Christie’s beloved
spinster sleuth in four new adaptations of the MYSTERY! series called “great
fun” by USA Today and “not your mother’s Miss Marple” by the Associated
Press. Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple, Series 2 premieres Sunday, June 4,
2006 at 9pm on PBS.
The new adaptations include Sleeping Murder (June 4 and 11) with guest star Sophia Myles; By the Pricking of My Thumbs (June 18 and 25) with Anthony Andrews and Greta Scacchi playing fellow Christie supersleuths Tommy and Tuppence Beresford; The Moving Finger (July 9 and 16), with Emilia Fox and James D’Arcy, and The Sittaford Mystery (July 23) with Timothy Dalton (aka James Bond).
