| New PixelPass Service Helps
Content Publishers Generate Income |
| . |
| Bloggers and other websites can now generate
income from the content they produce with the use of PixelPass,
an Internet application that makes low-cost website subscriptions simple
and easy for both the provider and the subscriber. |
|
|
| Before PixelPass,
web subscriptions were more suitable for high traffic websites offering
the type of premium content to justify subscription fees of $20 or more.
PixelPass creates a new subscription model, making it the ideal tool for
bloggers and other content providers operating on a relatively small scale. |

PixelPass
is a new subscription tool for both content providers and subscribers.
For website owners who provide excellent content but who don¹t generate
enough traffic to make online advertising a viable revenue channel, PixelPass
offers a flexible subscription tool that will enable websites to generate
income by charging only what the market will bear.
PixelPass is unique in that
it allows websites the ability to charge very small amounts for access
to their content. This 'mini subscription' model is based on fees starting
as low as $0.25 and not exceeding $2 per month.
Before PixelPass, web subscriptions
were more suitable for high traffic websites offering the type of premium
content to justify subscription fees of $20 or more. PixelPass creates
a new subscription model, making it the ideal tool for bloggers and other
content providers operating on a relatively small scale.
"The ease with which any blog
or website owner can charge a subscription for access really makes this
application unique," according to Brad Peterson, C.E.O. of PixelPass.
Peterson founded the company in 2003 with an eye towards developing a means
to enable website owners to generate revenue from even modest web traffic.
The application works by placing
an obscuring layer over Website content that prompts visitors to sign up
for a one month, non-recurring mini subscription to the website. The obscuring
layer is created with the use of a line of code PixelPass supplies to website
owners. It is free for website owners to sign up, and PixelPass takes a
percentage of the revenue generated by subscriptions.
Subscribers benefit from the
application because it offers access to unique content at a low price point.
Further, because all billing is done through PixelPass rather than the
websites themselves, the user enjoys a degree of anonymity not possible
with the traditional website subscription model.

The URLwire
Effect:
"URLwire is
without question the most effective way to tell the right people in the
online world about your web site"
-- CoolShopping.com
My experience
with URLWire has been entirely positive.
I received
coverage (and links!) from key sites and in e-newsletters, one of which
had over 500,000 readers. Resulting traffic has been more than impressive.
URLwire
demonstrated
to me that it's the prime choice for announcing a web site. Edwin

to get in without success. And, URLwire did it in one day.
