| Kards4Kids.org Launches Greeting
Card Site to Benefit Children |
| . |
New site at http://www.kards4kids.org
offers customizable high-quality greeting cards that promote the benefits
of early learning — and all proceeds go to a small nonprofit that helps
disadvantaged kids succeed in school and in life.

| “We hope Kards4Kids
will do well so we can continue doing good,” says Bob Grom, President and
CEO of Heritage Health Foundation, which
created and operates 4 Kids. “I’d put our cards up against any commercial
cards on the market. But ours do more than others: every dollar they bring
in goes to help kids who need and deserve it.” |

Kards4Kids
(www.kards4kids.org) offers boxed
birthday, thank-you, and note cards that feature artwork by, and photos
of, children enrolled in the 4 Kids Early Learning Network in Pittsburgh’s
Monongahela Valley Area. Each card also carries a brief message about the
importance of quality early learning. The cards are expertly designed and
printed; they’ve just been previewed for two major retailers, both of whom
immediately bought the line. Kards4Kids also plans to produce holiday cards
and other seasonals.
Cards can be customized with
buyers’ names, or organization names and logos.
Doing Well to Do Good
The 4 Kids Early Learning Network
produces life-changing results. Research shows that, once 4 Kids “graduates”
are in school, they’re far less likely than other children to repeat grades
or to need special education services. Their behaviors also improve significantly
as the children learn skills and attitudes that will help them succeed
in school and, later, in the workforce.
But 4 Kids (www.4kidsearlyed.org)
operates on a shoestring, andKards4Kids—an example of “social entrepreneurship”—is
designed to produce financial support.
“We hope Kards4Kids will do
well so we can continue doing good,” says Bob Grom, President and
CEO of Heritage Health Foundation, which created and operates 4 Kids. “I’d
put our cards up against any commercial cards on the market. But ours do
more than others: every dollar they bring in goes to help kids who need
and deserve it.”

The URLwire
Effect:
"URLwire is
without question the most effective way to tell the right people in the
online world about your web site"
-- CoolShopping.com
My experience
with URLWire has been entirely positive.
I received
coverage (and links!) from key sites and in e-newsletters, one of which
had over 500,000 readers. Resulting traffic has been more than impressive.
URLwire
demonstrated
to me that it's the prime choice for announcing a web site. Edwin
