Plastic surgery is no longer just for
the rich and famous. But it's not something to enter into without
your eyes wide open.
The Discovery Health Channel's website
provides answers to all of your questions in its new Plastic
Surgery Center.
The site features an audio Q&A
with plastic surgeon
Jan Adams, who covers everything from common
procedures to "custom" designing to alternatives to going under the knife.
The Plastic Surgery Center also has
separate sections comparing costs of breast implants and liposuction in
different cities, offering advice on selecting a surgeon, and providing
helpful information on botox and facelifts.
But probably the Center's most compelling
feature is its photo
gallery, which features men, women and children who have undergone
dramatic changes, from the 46-year-old woman who transformed herself
into a person who looked 20 years younger to the 16-year-old boy who had
his nose rebuilt after he lost part of it to cancer.
