The Governor's 4 week challenge
(Challenge #1 ) is designed to get you started on your way to living in
a healthy state. To be successful you must complete at least 3 days of
physical activity each week meeting a requirement of 30-60 minutes of activity.
This will have you living in zip code 30603.
Set goals for yourself based
on your schedule. Try to add another day every week. At the end of each
7 day stretch, add up all your active days to find your zip code. The first
4 digits will always be 3060 (for 30-60 minutes) and the last digit is
the number of days you were active that week. Stay in or above 30603 for
4 weeks to successfully complete this challenge and move on to challenge
#2 and a better zip code. The type of activity is totally up to you.
To participate, simply log on
to http://www.ActiveCA.org, and then...
1. Sign up for your membership
in Active, CA (view the membership card)
2. Track your activity level
each week with your own personalized Active, CA calendar.
3. Be active for 30-60 minutes
3 days each week. Maintain this schedule for 4 weeks and earn your reward.
Successfully completing Challenge
#2 (8 week challenge) will solidify your new active lifestyle. Commit to
living in 30605 for 8 weeks and you'll feel natural rewards start to take
shape in your life. A reward awaits you after completing this challenge.
