New Site Devoted to Catch Wrestling Launched at ScientificWrestling.com

Scientific Wrestling is a Los Angeles-based organization that has been quietly organizing a grass-roots movement to bring Western-style submission grappling back to the same prominence and respect it enjoyed during the early days of the 20th Century here in the United States.

The great grand-daddy of Ultimate Fighting, Olympic Wrestling, and even the World Wrestling Federation has staked it's claim on the web with the launch of the new Scientific Wrestling Online. The site, located at scientificwrestling.com offers exceptionally rare and nearly lost Western Martial Arts (i.e., catch wrestling and bare-knuckle boxing) instructional content via DVD, books, live clinics, online tutorials, and interactive forums.

With exclusive agreements with Olympic Gold medalist Mark Schultz, Most Wins in All of Wrestling Record Holder Wade Schalles, the man known as 'The God of Wrestling' Karl Gotch, Japanese submission master Yoshiaki Fujiwara, and the youngest UFC Heavyweight Champion in history Josh Barnett, the future looks bright for Scientific Wrestling and this old-time Western combatives tradition.
