More than 78 million Americans rely on email to communicate with family, friends and co-workers, most of whom face a daily barrage of junk email (spam).

And with a 16-fold increase in spam over the past two years alone, email users across the country and from all walks of life have been looking for simple, affordable and effective ways to block unwanted email.

SpamSlicer.com is a new service that integrates existing spam-blocking tools with a new patent-pending process, blocking up to 95 percent of spam before it ever reaches a user’s in-box.

Spam is a national problem

Unwanted email is permeating in-boxes in homes and offices at alarming rates forcing 19 states to have already passed anti-spam laws.

  • According to USA Today, 60 percent of email users have received sexually explicit or otherwise inappropriate email.
  • According to Gartner Group, only 5 percent of enterprises will successfully block 90 percent of malicious spam
  • According to Gartner Group, Type 1 and Type 2 spam will account for as much as 25% of all e-mail messages on the internet through 2002 (Type 1 is pure-trash e-mail, fraudulent schemes, invalid senders.  Type 2 is chain letters, urban legends, and hoaxes).
  • eMarketer, a leading provider of internet statistics, estimates that nearly 76 billion spam e-mails will be delivered over the internet in the year 2003.
SpamSlicer.com – a simple, effective and affordable solution

Spam Slicer is a web-based spam blocking service that works with any email software and any Internet Service Provider.

Spam Slicer customers receive unique, variable identifications that work just like a regular email address.  Subscribers simply use their Spam Slicer IDs instead of the their regular email address when they register for newsgroups, product information or any other instance which requires them to provide an email address to anyone who might sell their email address or use it for illicit purposes.  As a result, every incoming email message passes through the Spam Slicer system where it is first checked against a robust list of known spammers. If it matches any of the spammers on the list, the spam is discarded and never reaches its destination.

At that point, email messages are delivered to a customer’s regular email address.  If a Spam Slicer customer then receives spam or other unwanted email, he simply logs into the SpamSlicer.com website, enters the specific variation of the Spam Slicer ID to which the email was sent, and any future spam to that address will be blocked.  So even when spammers use standard tactics such as moving to new sender addresses – they will not be able to get around the block.  Neither will any other spammer who acquired the address from the first spammer.  As a result, Spam Slicer customers will quickly eliminate up to 95 percent of spam.

“Though many have tried, no one has developed a simple, effective and affordable solution to stop the growing junk email epidemic – until now,” said David Radin, president of M.Masters Corporation, which developed SpamSlicer.com.  “By integrating existing spam-blocking tools with a new patent-pending process, Spam Slicer provides the highest levels of protection against junk email, ensuring our customers will be able to utilize the benefits of email for their own purposes – not someone else’s".

“For millions of people, spam isn’t just a nuisance, it’s outright harassment.  Governments have recognized this problem and are legislating against spam; Internet Service Providers have gone to court over it; and newer email applications contain limited filters to try to stop it.  Spam Slicer empowers email users to identify and block spam before it even reaches their email, resulting in less unwanted email, less aggravation, and more productivity.”

The Spam Slicer service is available at three pricing levels: month-to-month billing ($2.95 / month, a one year subscription ($17.95 – less than $1.50 per month) and a three year subscription ($35.95 – less than $1.00 per month).

Developed by M. Masters Corporation, SpamSlicer.com is a web-based subscription service that integrates existing spam-blocking tools with a new patent-pending process, blocking up to 95 percent of spam before it ever reaches a user’s in-box.  For more information, visit http://www.spamslicer.com.
