Founded by Sherry Harris, DogStyleNetwork.com is a destination for Dogs and their parents, friends and family.  Whether you need help with dog training and dog behavior, potty training, barking, chew problems or crying when you leave - you will find answers at Dog Style Network.

The website is an educational service for dog owners worldwide, with the goal to provide the best information possible on many subjects concerning dogs and dog owners. Three quarters of dog owners consider their dog to be like a child or family member.  As a result, there is a growing trend for dog parents to be more proactive in many areas of life for man's best friend.  Whether one is looking for expert dog information, brand name dog supplies, organic dog food, puppy training, or dog health insurance you are sure to find it at DogStyleNetwork.com.

Harris commented, "The most popular areas of the website are the Video and Articles sections. The site offers families the opportunity to participate in DogStyleNetwork.com's funny home videos with their video featuring none other than man's best friend. The dog videos are cute, funny, quirky, unusual and interesting. Your dog might be featured on DogStyleNetwork.com and who knows - broadcasting your dog on our network might land them the next big dog role in Hollywood!"

In addition, at DogStyleNetwork.com dog lovers will find hundreds of free dog articles devoted to adoption, training, travel, medical and feeding issues, as well as a comprehensive list of puppy and adult training tools and information for over 175 specific dog breeds - a must have for owners of
breeds that are considered high risk, such as Dobermans or Rottweiler's.  Coming soon is a TV blog that will feature articles and associated video on how to take care of your dog as well many other
interesting topics.

Deep bonds between humans and animals do seem to be an evolving trend.  This trend can be found with empty-nesters, young, single people who may take a job far away from family and friends, or people who have divorced turn to their dogs for comfort.  These folks see their dogs not just as pets, but as a part of the family.  As a result, they treat their dogs like children and, lets not forget, they pamper them.  That is why DogStyleNetwork.com offers the really pampered pooch chic mini mansion dog houses and stylish dog and puppy clothes (such as hand knitted sweaters & fabulous faux fur coats darling), luxurious high-end dog beds, trendy dog jewelry, designer feeding diners, elegant pet steps, and more.

When asked about her motivation for creating the site, Harris said, "I wanted to create a place that focused on dogs only.  I love hamsters, birds and fish, but it seemed like there were enough offline and online stores catering to the various pets.  I felt like there was room for another player in the dog market."

The United States fell into a recession in 2007. It continues today crippling many retailers as consumers cut spending.  Said Harris, "however, dog owners are slow to cut back spending on their "best friends".  Whether Wall Street is having a bad day or not, your dog or puppy still needs to eat."  If this trend holds true, DogStyleNetwork.com could be in a prime position to take a bite out of the competition while most of the retail industry struggles.
