Planet Green and Daylife Launch Oil Spill Topic Site
URL: http://topics.treehugger.com/page/gulf-oil-spill Green sites TreeHugger, Discovery News and Planet Green partnered this week to launch a new Daylife-powered Gulf Oil Spill topic page featuring real-time coverage of the environmental disaster from their own sites and across the web. Using Daylife SmartTopics, the hub highlights manually curated editors' picks from TreeHugger, Planet Green and Discovery News, and provides a real-time feed of proprietary blog posts, articles and videos from the three environmentalist outlets. In addition, the site tracks Twitter mentions of the oil spill, the latest high quality Getty Images photos of the crisis, and relevant links from selected green sources across the web. URLwire
has helped quality web content gain attention, links, and publicity for
over 15 years. URLwire was established in 1994 as a private and discreet
service to announce meritiorious Web content to the exact trusted influencers
who care about it. URLwire is free to all subscribers. URLwire is
not a bulk press release distribution service, and will never be automated.
It is sent by Eric Ward, one at a time, to people who look forward to it.
URLwire
has thousands of private email subscribers, and I also publish URLwire
in several other formats
including RSS and Twitter.
Why am I still doing this after all these years? Here's a quote that
sums it up.
