While the elderly are filing bankruptcies in record numbers, college students are buried in debt, with an average debt at graduation in America of $19,300. "Is it time to coin the phrase 'Debt Generation'?" continues Bovee. Bovee recommends, instead, that the public move to address this issue. "Debt happens - but recovery from debt happens, too."
