William Sutjiadi, the CEO of SearchToFeed sees it this way: "If we can utilize our expertise, technology, and resources to bring you the easiest and most innovative ways to increase awareness, participation, and funds to fight hunger, we believe we are a step closer to ending this human tragedy."

SearchToFeed has established a relationship with Mercy Corps (www.mercycorps.org) to distribute the food where it is most needed. "SearchToFeed is a tremendously exciting idea, and the funds raised will make a real difference for families and children in the world's poorest countries," said Matthew De Galan, Chief Development Officer at Mercy Corps. "If you need to find something on the Internet, why not help a hungry child at the same time?"

SearchToFeed is the result of a group of Christian thinkers who came together to use their Internet experience to alleviate world hunger. The online advertising industry is moving to a performance-based model, and SearchToFeed is a response to this trend. It was created not just as a powerful medium to generate free donations for hunger relief, but also as a valuable service to both Web users and online advertisers.

William Sutjiadi, the CEO of SearchToFeed sees it this way: "If we can utilize our expertise, technology, and resources to bring you the easiest and most innovative ways to increase awareness, participation, and funds to fight hunger, we believe we are a step closer to ending this human tragedy." Because it takes more than just food to end hunger, the long-term goal of SearchToFeed is to establish many free ways for Web users to generate funds to help support various anti-hunger movements.

SearchToFeed is the first not-for-profit Meta Search Engine on the Internet dedicated to fighting world hunger. The company is a non-profit arm of Giving Avenue, Inc. and is headquartered in San Diego, California. This Web-based service seeks to alleviate world hunger by donating a cup of food every time a user performs a search.
