Web Site Helps Investors Discover Tomorrow’s Winning Stocks Today
Every year – whether markets are up, down or flat – there are always stocks that double, triple or more in market value. Owning one or more of these stocks can significantly increase the value of one’s investment portfolio. The challenge, of course, is to become an early discoverer of these growth stocks – to discover tomorrow’s winning stocks today.

For the past two decades Paul Christiansen, founder of Big Bet Stocks (http://bigbetstocks.com), has been obsessed with trying to find a method that would help investors successfully solve that challenge.

After years of searching and testing, Paul can finally say: “I believe that investors can become early discoverers of tomorrow’s winning stocks, either by identifying the early purchases of savvy investors or by an unusual surge in trading volume.”

Paul’s proxies for savvy investors are over forty of America’s largest hedge funds and over forty of America’s largest institutional investment management firms. Collectively these eighty-plus firms have more than $8 trillion of assets under management.

Whenever an SEC filing by one of the hedge funds reveals an initial or incremental investment of at least $25 million in a specific stock, a Signal is generated. The details of that Signal are then emailed to Big Bet Stocks subscribers, often within hours of the SEC filing.

Similarly, whenever an SEC filing by one of the institutional investment management firms reveals an initial or incremental investment of at least $100 million in a specific stock, a Signal is generated. The details of that Signal are similarly emailed to subscribers.

The reason for the $25 million and $100 million thresholds is that Paul wants to capture Big Bets. Unlike poker, there is no bluffing in the world of investing. When these institutions are convinced that they’ve discovered tomorrow’s winning stocks they make Big Bets.

To identify an unusual surge in trading volume Paul tracks the daily unusual volume data for both the NYSE and Nasdaq. Whenever a stock experiences a significant increase in daily trading volume accompanied by higher closing prices for at least three of the most recent five trading days, a Signal is generated. The details of unusual volume Signals are emailed to subscribers at the end of every business day.

Paul hastens to warn that the enigmatic nature of investing precludes the development of an unerring, systematic process for discovering tomorrow’s growth stocks.  Even savvy institutional investors make bad investments.

Nevertheless, historic data has convinced him that “it’s highly unlikely that any stock can become one of tomorrow’s winners without triggering a Signal either from savvy investors or from unusual trading activity – or both.”
