In an NCAA-style bracket, the Innovators Tournament pits 32 influential figures (including Alexander Graham Bell, Ted Turner, and Clarence Birdseye) against each other for the title of America’s innovative champ. They Made America airs November 8, 15, and 22 on PBS (check local listings).
