It’s time to play the music, it’s time to light
the lights, it’s time to check out Kermit on the Muppets’
new web site!
The all-new Muppets.com
went live November 17, offering fans the latest news, behind-the-scenes
updates, interactive games and activities in one Muppettsational web site.
The site integrates real video of Kermit the
Frog and the cast of Muppet characters into a vibrant 3-D environment creating
a unique and immersive web experience.
After being greeted by Kermit the Frog, a
roving studio map guides guests through a tour of Muppets Studios including:

The Studio Lounge featuring the quirky,
yet entertaining games you'd expect from the Muppets. Visitors can
create their own Muppet Music remix, join Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant
Beaker in a typical Muppet Labs (mis)adventure, and try their hand against
Pepe the Prawn at the card table!

The Newsstand is the entry way to Sow
in the City – A Diva’s Diary. This is Miss Piggy’s personal blog
where she dishes the dirt on upcoming projects, the highs and lows of having
an interspecies romance, and other Muppet celebrity news and gossip.

The Central Casting area showcases bios
of favorite characters from Kermit to Camilla, Rizzo to Rowlf.

The Main Gate is the soundstage entry
way, delivering information on current events and activities. This area
currently features an exclusive look into the new ABC television movie,
The Muppets Wizard of Oz, and provides a first look at the Muppets’ new
U.S. Postage Stamps, which will be released in 2005.
