Andover.net Launches "FreeCode.com"

A Programmer's Paradise of Free Source Code for over 300 Web Applications

Andover.net a network of technology oriented websites -- this week launches FreeCode.com, their 15th site. FreeCode archives the source code for over 300 Windows and Unix compatible web applications written in C/C++, Java, Perl, or Visual Basic. All source code available on FreeCode is as the name implies free for personal and commercial use. "It's a site designed by programmers for programmers" said Adam Green, Chief Technology Officer of Andover.net and FreeCode's originator. "Programmers will be able to view online the complete source code for any program listed on FreeCode. They can cut and paste only the portions they need, or can download the entire file."

"Anyone involved in the design, programming or production of web sites or intranets will find something useful here" said Bruce Twickler, President of Andover.net. "Our hunter-gatherers are adding to this collection daily. Already, this is the largest collection of free source code available on the 'net."
