Popular Sprint PCS community site SprintUsers.com has announced the roll out of several new tools and features to their popular destination web site.

Said site founder Lee Dodd, "In August we launched our SprintUsers.com text messenger.  Developed in house, this text messenger allows anyone to send a text message to ANY cell phone in the US from the SprintUsers.com web site. This is a great tool for people that don't have text message sending capability, and also allows more functionality over the text messenger Sprint PCS offers on their site as their tool only allows for messages to be sent to Sprint phones."

Also rolled out was the User Reviews section. This growing compilation of user submitted reviews now totals over 325. These are reviews of both Sprint cell phones and Sprint Accessories.  Reviews are organized by manufacturer and split into separate accessory and phone categories.  This is an excellent resource for unbiased user reviews.

In November 2005 the site unveiled the web's first ever Wallpaper Gallery, where users can design, upload, and download wallpapers at no charge.  Members will have their own galley containing all the images they upload, with a built in rating system.   Users can also search through the on-siteinventory of over 800 free images that anyone can use for wallpaper at no charge.

Dodd commented, "SprintUsers.com was created in January 2002 as a resource for users of Sprint PCS products and servicesto learn about and share information. The site has since become the largest free internet community dedicated to Sprint PCS users to learn about the company's products and services. The content comes from users, and the suggestions and opinions are from real people, not from Sprint's corporate PR department."

In addition to new features mentioned above, SprintUsers.com offers a multitude of services:

- Our Focus Uploader allows all Sprint PCS users with Vision-enabled handsets to personalize their devices with custom ringers, applications, and images.

- You can Download files and software relating to Sprint PCS. This section includes links to software developers who offer freeware and shareware software to the PCS community.

- The SprintUsers FAQ answers the most frequently asked questions that are brought up in the message forum. This is a great resource for users who are new Sprint phones and services.

- Our comprehensive list of Links direct users to websites all over the Internet having to do with Sprint PCS and the wireless industry. A large amount of Vision Content Links point to many 3rd party websites.

- The SprintUsers WAP Directory offers a collection of links to other websites on a large variety of topics. Users can browse to the directory from their mobile handset and even participate in our message forum!
