Big Sky’s Resort Property Management launched its brand new web site at www.rpmbigsky.com, providing real-time online booking and valuable content assisting visitors as they plan their summer or winter vacation to the Big Sky Montana area...all available 24/7. 

Resort Property Management offers a large selection of luxurious vacation homes and condominiums available for rent in Big Sky's Mountain and Meadow Village, adjacent to Big Sky Resort, Moonlight Basin, Gallatin River and Yellowstone National Park. Many of the homes offer ski-in, ski-out opportunities or riverfront proximity to the Gallatin River. 

RPM is small business, locally owned and operated by the Ryan family, long time residents of Big Sky, Montana. Building this web site was a large project for a small company who knows there business well; but was unfamiliar with the value the web could bring to their business. Within the first four months, traffic has doubled and bookings have increased on the web by 10%. Visitors are spending more time on the site, spending an average of 2 minutes, an increase of 1.5 minutes.

With the help of Edgeworks Group and Benoit Associates, RPM’s marketing consultant, the site was developed with the visitor in mind, making their experience on the site more of an experience, while providing a solid sales and marketing tool for RPM. 

The new RPM website has a number of intriguing features in addition to hundreds of new photographs and a “guest perks” section. For the first time, the easy-to-navigate website offers an online booking that allows the visitor to “check availability” and choose from a number of locations in the Big Sky area, giving guests a birds-eye view of the mountain and meadow area. Additional area information was added to the site to help the visitor plan their trip in more detail listing nearby restaurants and winter and summer activities, allowing the site to compete with the larger ski resorts in the area. Illustrated maps of each area are now available showing where individual houses and areas are located. Maps are also available as a print version that can be downloaded from the site and is provided in each guest’s check-in package.

Other New Features of the Website: 

• Online booking available from anywhere on the site
• Pay-per-click campaigns were developed to boost traffic while the organic rankings went up. (Targeted search campaigns are set up based on events, seasons, even down to when a snow storm is scheduled to hit.)
• Detailed keyword research and organic optimization was completed on each page of the site before the site was launched. Content was written to position RPM competitively with larger sites.   
• Big Sky-area activities, weather and Montana travel links available
• Unique photos for each property PLUS scenic destination photography by award-winning Montana-based photographer, Lynn Donaldson.
