Lovethebook.com has broad listings of both small, alternative and independent press books, and university press books.  Designed for browsing pleasure, they feature select small press and university press books. Publishers, authors and readers are invited to suggest candidates. 

The latest news in books and authors can be found on the lovethebook.com book notes  and book news pages (book notes for shorter news items, book news for longer items).  Although many major book and literary events are covered, lesser known stories that are largely ignored by the online news media are prominently featured, in particular, news stories highlighting progressive books and authors and news items covered from a politically progressive point of view. 

Lovethebook.com book lists is a page that is still in its infancy but offers a foretast of what's to come. The book lists page will ultimately compete with the book awards page for breadth of coverage and compliment it for the pure pleasure of book browsing.
