Canadian retailer Tish Kenny has launched what she says is the only United Colors Of Benetton store online, at http://www.shopbenetton.com. Out of
the 7000 brick-based Benetton stores worldwide, this is the only retailer that has leapt into online retailing.

"I have always been keen to participate at the beginning of a new trend" says Tish, who opened the first of her Benetton stores at the tender age of 18.  Then, when  other retailers were merely focusing on discounts to generate sales, Tish invested in staff mentoring.  The subsequent corporate culture that developed has provided a solid foundation for her successful 17 year retail operation.
