Advertising Age's Business Marketing Launches Internet's First Business-Targeted Directory Of Web Developers

Netb2b.com site will link to each developer's clients for easy reference checks

Advertising Age's Business Marketing magazine today launches the Internet's first business-targeted directory of Web developers on its Web site at http://netb2b.com.  Developers will be listed by city for the top 10 U.S. markets, with more cities being added each month. Included in the directory will be hotlinks to clients, listings of specialties, and contact phone numbers.

"For marketers seeking to hire developers for their business Web sites, it's always been difficult to figure out where to turn," said David Klein, Ad Age Group associate publisher/editor. "Now for the first time these marketers can go right to netb2b.com and find a ready-made list, by specialty and location, to begin their search."  In addition to the new Developer Directory, the Netb2b.com site has won attention for its other pioneering feature, the national Web Price Index. Based on bids every month from 24 Web developers around the country, the Web Price Index gives marketers high, low and median prices for all facets of business Web design.

NetB2B.com is the Web site of NetMarketing, a regular section of Advertising Age's Business Marketing. It offers a searchable database of Internet marketing case studies, how-to tutorials, head-to-head shootouts between competing Web marketers, and columns from leading Internet journalists and analysts. Content is refreshed daily with Web tips and columns, and managed by the Business Marketing editorial staff. Chicago-based Streams Inc. ( http://www.streams.com ) is the Web developer. The Ad Age Group consists of four publications: Advertising Age, Advertising Age International, Business Marketing and Creativity, as well as Ad Age's own Web site ( http://adage.com ). Other brand products include the Ad Age Daily Fax and the global e-mail news service, Daily World Wire.
