| Venture
Frogs, LLC, an angel investment company, today announced the opening
of the Venture Frogs
Incubator, its new fully integrated office and breeding ground for early stage Internet companies. The mission of the Venture Frogs Incubator is to help promising entrepreneurs by providing office space and advice from successful and experienced entrepreneurs and professionals. The environment allows entrepreneurs to focus on growing their business without having to worry about core necessities.
Early stage startup companies can move right into a fully integrated office, equipped with computers, internet connections, phone systems, conference rooms, reception areas, copiers, and fax machines. Startups also have access to legal, financial, and engineering consultants to help them refine their product and market strategies. The Venture Frogs Incubator complements the funding efforts of Venture Frogs, LLC. "It allows the companies we invest in to grow faster and move more quickly," said Tony Hsieh, general manager. "In this industry, the speed at which you can execute well can make or break a company." The Venture Frogs Incubator is located in the Marquee Historical Building
at 1000 Van Ness in San Francisco. Venture Frogs was formed by Tony Hsieh
and Alfred Lin, two members of the founding team of LinkExchange (acquired
by Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT)
in November 1998). Focusing on the Internet, e-commerce, information,
and telecommunications technology markets, Venture Frogs provides angel
investment in and consulting for private companies which are in early development
of new strategic opportunities and in a phase of unusual growth.
So far this year, Venture Frogs has made over a dozen investments from
its $27 million fund. Investments typically range in size from $100k
to $3 million.
